LIMARÍ VALLEY is one of Chilean up-and-coming valleys and is located in one of the northern regions to grow wines.
Approximately 400km. North to Santiago and approaching the southern edge of the Atacama Desert, the valley runs east-west, from the striking Andean peaks to the pristine shores of the Pacific coast which makes it ideal for the elaboration of wine.
Due to modern irrigation systems in semi-arid and arid soils, at the beginning of the 90’s, the vineyards plantations started. This valley has an average of 90mm of rain per year allowing very healthy vineyards and dry harvest. Its cross-sectional valley topography opened to the sea, allows the “Camanchaca” fog to blanket the area with cool air each morning and coastal breezes to reach inland to our vineyards.
