Oud Brunello 2015 Sour
Brewed in Italy, Birrificio Del Ducato's Oud Brunello sour beer has that classic Oud bruin smell and taste. Pours maroon red with a receding light khaki colored foam head. Incredibly layered with complex lambic-esque notes, wildflowers, barnyardy earthy funk, oaky spice, hay, slight vinegar, wine barrel, straw, fresh herbs, vanilla, caramel, dark toffee, molasses, toasted malts, some chocolate, garden strawberry, tart red fruits, acetic red wine, peppercorn, with dusty floral earthy herbal grassy hops. Feels medium bodied, smooth with moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice oud bruin. This is a beer you want to let warm because richer flavors come out as it warms.
