We've committed to preparing and delivering over 750 meals to individuals and families within a 30-minute radius of Ellenville. It's our way of sharing the holiday spirit and ensuring that everyone has the chance to enjoy a festive meal.
Join us in celebrating the season of giving with Aroma Thyme Bistro's gesture of goodwill. Because a community that dines together, shines together.

A Time for Giving: Aroma Thyme Bistro's Commitment to Ellenville
Ellenville, nestled in upstate New York, faced a significant economic challenge in the 2000s. The closure of key employers such as Nevele Resort, Hydro Aluminum, and Schrade Cutlery led to a loss of nearly 1000 jobs—a substantial impact for a community of 4000. Today, these buildings stand as silent reminders of a vibrant past, with those jobs yet to return.
At Aroma Thyme Bistro, we understand the importance of community resilience and support. Chef and owner Marcus Guiliano's passion for giving back is echoed through our annual free Christmas Day meal initiative. "It's about more than just food; it's about warmth, care, and community," Marcus says. With the help of dedicated volunteers, we've been able to sustain this heartfelt event for the past 13 years, bearing the costs to ensure that nobody in our community feels the pang of hunger on this festive day.
Our no-questions-asked policy ensures that dignity and respect are served with every meal. Last Christmas, we reached a new milestone, providing 755 meals, and we only see this number growing as more become aware of this service.
Today, we're reaching out for your support. Your donations can help us continue this beautiful tradition that has become a staple of the Aroma Thyme Bistro ethos.
Since opening in 2003 as the first Certified Green Restaurant in upstate New York, Aroma Thyme has been committed to ethical and sustainable practices, sourcing from small independent suppliers to fill our kitchen and bar.
With heartfelt thanks for your continued support, Jamie & Marcus Guiliano
