Pumpkin & Nut Brown Ale Coulis Dessert Sauce Recipe
- 2 medium sugar baby pumpkins roasted, peeled and seeds removed.
- 16 oz Ithaca Nut Brown Ale or your favorite brown ale or porter
- 2 cups coconut sugar
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
Puree the pumpkin pulp while it is still warm until very smooth.Reduce beer by half in a sauce pan. Add pumpkin puree, coconut sugar and cinnamon. Simmer slowly until desired consistency.
This is a great sauce for chocolate cake or just about anything chocolate. We recommended this with our Chocolate Torte for a fall seasonal twist.
