Only 24 bottles came to ALL of NY State and NYC. We just happened to get 3 bottles! We are kind of excited about that!
Tequila Siete Leguas Siete Décadas is made with criollo agaves, which are a type of blue agave variety called Tequilana Weber. These agaves grow wild on the slopes of hills in Jalisco, Mexico and take longer to mature, resulting in smaller pineapples with higher concentrations of sugars. To celebrate its 70th anniversary, Siete Leguas has released a limited edition white tequila made with these criollo agaves and produced using traditional methods, including slow cooking in stone ovens, grinding in a tahona, natural fermentation with wild yeasts, and double distillation in copper stills. The limited edition bottle, called Siete Leguas 70th Anniversary, contains 700 ml of 100% blue agave tequila and has an alcohol content of 42% by volume. It has a smooth, balanced flavor with citrus and cooked agave notes and can be enjoyed on its own or in cocktails.
